Interacting with refugees
This section contains some of the basic concepts to keep in mind when you’re working with refugees. Many of the rules of conduct and best practices that apply when providing legal services to refugees are the same as those that would apply in any attorney/adviser-client relationship. 1. Good communication
2. Respect for the client
3. Client awareness of personal responsibilities
4. Proper use of an interpreter when necessary
